This is what we do

TECC uses lessons from the military and applies them in the civilian world of tactical medicine. This 2-day (16HR), evidenced-based course covers topics designed to decrease preventable death in high-threat, pre-hospital trauma. TECC takes an all-hazards approach to provide care outside the normal operating conditions of first responder agencies. High-risk situations include mass casualty, acts of terror, or active shooter events. Upon successfully completing the course, students receive a certificate of completion, a wallet card recognizing them as TECC providers for 4 years, and 16 hours of CAPCE credit.

Our Active Shooter series is a multi-agency training program designed to develop, refine, and produce successful Contact Teams, Rescue Task Force teams, Unified Command across the Country, Multi-Agencies, and emergency services. By bridging the gap, we unite all Agencies as 1 Team, 1 Fight. Students will learn tactics and concepts to prepare for Active Shooter Events, Acts of Violence. We use lessons learned from our Military, and apply them to the civilian world of Tactical Medicine. Medical skills are from TCCC, TECC, and Combat Life Saver. (For Emergency Services Only)

Our First Aid/CPR/AED program is developed to help businesses and our community recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac, breathing, and first aid emergencies. The skills and knowledge learned in this course can make a difference and help save a life. Students who successfully pass will earn a Course Completion Card valid for two years.

Our Tactical Breacher Series combines Military Master Breacher and Fire Service Forcible Entry. Teams will start in the classroom learning tactics, techniques, building construction, tool selection, and dynamic entries. Students will then proceed to the Hands-on Training portion. The purpose of these courses is to gain knowledge, as well as tactical and technical proficiency on breaching techniques.
Level I – Basic Forcible Entry for Law Enforcement, Level II - Tactical Breacher for Special Response Teams, and Level III – Master Breacher.

Valkyrie Tactical Solutions & The Sawmill are proud to Host the only South Carolina SWAT Challenge: The Ragnarök. This challenge not only allows Teams to learn and build on their skills but will test Teams on their Tactical and Technical Proficiency to help refine TTPs. We focus on 7 distinct events needed for a high-performing team. These events will give agencies from across the state the privilege and opportunity to network, learn, and enjoy friendly competition. Our goal is to encourage the exchange of tactics, techniques, and to promote the high level of tactical skills, mental focus, and physical endurance needed for high-performing teams. We will also be offering a workshop on Day 1.
